Mountain West Credit Union Association To Release Annual Report

 

More than 600 Credit Union Professionals Gather at Annual Meeting & Convention

DENVER, Co. & PHOENIX, Az. (April 19, 2016) – The Mountain West Credit Union Association (MWCUA) will release its annual report to association members and disclose financial reporting for the year ending December 31, 2015 at its annual business meeting April 22, 2016. The meeting will be conducted during the MWCUA Annual Meeting & Convention being held April 21-23, 2016 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

The more than 600 conference attendees representing 58 credit unions from across the Association’s tri-state trade area will participate in the three-day event and will be the largest group in the organization’s history. Credit unions from Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming make up the regional membership. The Association holds its annual business meeting as part of the convention. Voting members are updated and receive the Association’s Annual Report, released at the meeting.

“The Association was built on the principles of service and helping others,” said John Uchida, Chairman of the Association Board of Directors and President of Space Age Federal Credit Union in Aurora, CO. “We exist to serve our members, just like they exist to serve their members at their respective credit unions – by building financial stability, democratic control, and ongoing education, among others. The Association is committed to responsible service and our ability to provide a significant value for our member credit unions.”

Attendees of this year’s meeting and convention will benefit from breakout sessions offering the latest industry training including technology, cyber-security, business models for success, and more. A special treat at this year’s convention will be the attendance of Jim Nussle, President and CEO of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). Nussle will provide attendees with an update and participate in the conference sessions.
