Grants are available in three areas:
- Leadership in Action Application-(Download the application here) The new leadership in action grants aim to support leadership initiatives credit unions develop internally. To learn more and see an example click the link to view the video and download the whitepaper.
- Community Investment Funds (CIF) Grant Application-(Download the application here) CIF grant are designed to help credit unions serve there communities under three key castigatory including:
- Serving the underserved
- Credit Union Development
- Public Financial Education
- Chapter Grant Application-(Download the application here) Chapter Grants are deigned to help chapter serve their member credit unions.
If you are a credit union or non-profit organization working in cooperation with a credit union to implement a new product/service or enhance current offerings in any of these areas, you may be eligible. We typically fund requests under $5,000 and recommend that you contact the Foundation prior to your submission.
Our Grant Process
A funding decision letter with grant agreement (as applicable) will be electronically sent within 45 days of application close date. Disbursement of award will occur upon receipt of all required grant documentation. All grant awards require post-award reporting. Reporting requirements vary and will be described in grant agreement.
