“We are all very excited about the opportunity to have the unique experience to help perpetuate the credit union movement and assist in developing a stronger international credit union system through expanding cooperative networks,” said Mike Williams, Chairman of the Mountain West Credit Union Association.  “The value of working together with Alianza and the World Council of Credit Unions will strengthen all of our business practices as we work to build new and enhanced models together.“

“The former Leagues in Arizona and Colorado/Wyoming were no strangers to the World Council and working in developing credit union work systems overseas,” said Victor Miguel Corro.  He Added, “We are very pleased to welcome the Mountain West Credit Union Association to our expanding international partnerships this year.  Membership is growing in double digits at Alianza credit unions and they need a strong partner so that they can introduce modern delivery channels to their members. Also, Alianza is eager to share insights as to how to serve the Latino members in the U.S. credit unions better.
