Canvas Credit Union’s Andrew Martin Selected for Filene i3 Program

Canvas’ own Andrew Martin, Mortgage Sales Manager, chosen for Filene Research Institute’s i3 Program

 

LONE TREE, CO (October 24, 2018) – Canvas Credit Union announces their very own Andrew Martin, Mortgage Sales Manager, is one of only 21 credit union professionals selected to take part in the distinguished Filene Research Institute’s i3 (Ideas, Innovation, Implementation) Program.

Tasked with the legacy of developing new innovative solutions for credit unions, the 21 selected credit union leaders kick off their 2-year i3 Program at Filene’s annual big.bright.minds. event in San Diego in December 2018.

“Participating in the I3 Program is a tremendous opportunity,” said Martin. “I’m excited to help the credit union industry further innovate, and look forward to collaborating with the other selected professionals from across the nation.” Martin has been a part of the Canvas Family for more than 2 years and 8 years in the credit union industry helping Coloradans secure home ownership possibilities.

Since its origination in 2004, the i3 Program has asked next generation leaders from within the national credit union community to find unique fixes to the industry’s tough issues, such as student loan debt and developing healthy financial habits in the next generation. Last year’s concepts dealt with understanding and supporting their communities with a futuristic mindset, including artificial intelligence and virtual reality.
