COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Dec. 12, 2018) – Ent Credit Union has been named the #1 workplace in the Pikes Peak region in The Gazette’s 2018 Best Workplace awards, in the extra-large employer (299+ employees) category.
For this annual recognition program, The Gazette seeks nominations for companies that “operate with a clear mission, strong leadership and vision for success.” Nominees then distribute an online survey to their employees, asking for their perspective on the company’s organizational health, engagement and leadership, training, compensation and benefits and corporate social responsibility. Companies with the highest employee survey scores, with more than 40 percent of their employees participating in the online survey, are eligible to be recognized. In 2018, Ent received the highest employee survey scores in the extra-large employer category and was named the #1 extra-large workplace in the Pikes Peak Region.
“Having a mission and a purpose that you can feel inspired by gets you to the office, working with great people makes it fun to keep coming back, and having an organization that supports you and the things in your community that you are passionate about is icing on the cake,” said Victoria Selfridge, Ent’s Vice President of Corporate Communications.
“At Ent, we recognize that our employees are a key part of our organization’s continued success, and one of the credit union’s strategic goals is to be consistently regarded as an ‘employer of choice’ in the communities we serve,” said Sharie Flanagan, Ent’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. “It has been very rewarding to learn, through this local recognition program, that our employees consider us a workplace of choice in the Pikes Peak region.”
