Ent holiday food drive raises dollars and pounds

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (January 12, 2016) — Ent Credit Union successfully concluded its annual holiday food drive. Employee and member donations totaled 3,117 pounds of food and $2,812 to benefit local families in need through Care and Share Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies.

In addition to collection boxes in Ent’s corporate offices and service centers, employees donated 44 turkeys during the annual Care and Share “Take a Turkey to Work Day” in November.

“As an active community partner, Ent is proud to support the food banks that serve our member communities. Care and Share Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies provide an invaluable service to the community and we are pleased at how our members and employees came together this holiday season to donate and support them,” said Barbara Winter, Ent’s executive vice president of organizational resources.
