Arvada, CO. (October 9, 2015) Sooper Credit Union has been approved by the Division of Financial Services in the state of Colorado to add Jefferson County, Colorado to their field of membership. Sooper Credit Union currently has a field of membership that includes both SEG (select employee group) based and community based members. This includes community charters in Grand Junction, Denver, and Arvada and Select Employee Groups such as King Soopers and City Market employees. Sooper also has over 400 other select employee groups.
“It’s an exciting time for Sooper as we build new branches, expand our field of membership and bring on new technologies to serve our members well into the future”, said CEO and President, Dan Kester. “With our new prototype branches in Arvada and Lakewood, we are well positioned to serve Jefferson County in those areas”, he added. Kester also mentioned that the credit union owns property in west Arvada which is still a potential location for growth.
Sooper is acquiring a new core system through CU Prodigy, introducing Interactive Teller Machines into their branching formula, and expanding into other areas of new technology. “We are transforming to serve the member of the future”, Kester said. “We have a personal investment in our communities, members and employees.”
