Janice Mehle has been appointed as the new President/CEO
SunWest Credit Union (Pueblo, Colo.) has appointed Janice Mehle as the new President/CEO. Janice has been part of SunWest Credit Union for 19 years, previously serving as the Senior Vice President. She was responsible for the growth and development of all lending functions.
Janice said, “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead a local financial institution that is based in Southern Colorado. I look forward to continuing to grow and expand SunWest’s membership and community involvement.“
Prior to joining SunWest, Janice served in several capacities at community and national banks. Her experience includes operations, accounting and lending. Janice has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University – Pueblo.
SunWest Credit Union is the oldest credit union in southern Colorado, founded as Pueblo Teachers’ Credit Union in 1935. SunWest has a long history in serving the educational field and other employer-based organizations. The credit union has two Pueblo locations and an office in Canon City.
