Professional, Volunteer of the Year Honored and HOPE Award Winner Named at Annual Meeting & Convention
DENVER, Co. (May 2, 2016) – The Mountain West Credit Union Association presented its annual credit union Professional and Volunteer of the Year awards at a special dinner April 22 at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO. The awards dinner, themed “A Night at the Oscars,” was held during the Mountain West Credit Union Association’s 5th Annual Meeting & Convention.
Each year, the Association solicits nominations to determine the Professional and Volunteer of the Year. Additionally, this year, the HOPE Award was added. HOPE stands for “Helping People Every Day.” HOPE nominees were recognized throughout the year either at their credit union, a Chapter event or within their state. Those recipients were then reviewed to determine one person to receive the first Mountain West Credit Union Association HOPE Award.
