Town Hall Meeting Series Set to Discuss Association’s Future

With Scott Earl’s upcoming retirement this summer, the Board of Directors and the entire MWCUA team spent several weeks partnering with the Northwest Credit Union Association Board and team to explore the possibility of combining the associations to create a world-class organization that will best serve credit unions into the future. That process, and subsequent presentation to both the MWCUA and NWCUA boards, led to unanimously passed board actions and declarations of support recommending that MWCUA and NWCUA merge and become one Association.

A series of in-person and virtual Town Halls and other gatherings will be held throughout the region between now and March 23 to meet with leadership to discuss the proposed merger plan, hear of the exciting benefits of bringing the organizations together, share your ideas, and ask any questions you may have. Please register here and join us for a Town Hall that is convenient for you. The town halls are open to all member credit unions, and we encourage all who are interested to participate.
