Regulatory Compliance School Coming to Denver in Sept.

Do you ever feel like you’re swimming in a bowl of alphabet soup? Regulations B, C, E, W, X, Y and Z. What regulation governs what? And what do all these darn letters mean?

For answers to those questions and more, plan to join Attorney and compliance expert Michael Christians for Regulatory Compliance School in Denver, CO on September 10-11, 2019. This two-day session will provide a comprehensive overview of the key compliance responsibilities applicable to your credit union.

Day one will focus on deposit accounts and operations. We’ll go back to basics with a discussion of BSA, Regulations E and P, Truth in Savings and UDAAP and look ahead to upcoming changes affecting Regulation CC.

Day two will cover consumer and real estate lending. First, we’ll look at Regulations B, G, V, X and Z. Then, we’ll discuss the hot topics of HMDA and flood insurance.

Each day will include individual and group exercises to test your knowledge. And don’t forgot to bring all of your burning compliance questions for our daily “Ask The Expert” sessions.
