Centennial, CO (March 25, 2014) — Every year Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) recognizes and rewards credit unions for their credit card marketing efforts with a CAMEO Award. This May, Columbine Federal Credit Union will receive a first place award at CSCU’s Annual Meeting being held in St. Petersburg, Florida. Credit unions have to actively promote their card portfolio in order to reach their goals and CSCU honors the hard work of credit unions that understand and implement such campaigns.
Winning first place in the less than $60 million in assets category for innovation, Columbine’s holiday season credit card campaign offered double Scorecard rewards points for purchases made from November 1 through the end of 2013. Columbine also awarded one member their entire day’s purchases for using a Columbine credit card on Black Friday. Additionally, Columbine offered exclusive Black Friday only deals to members such as 1% off all auto loans, no-fee gift cards, and $25 for the first 10 members to transact at the main branch.
Columbine accomplished their goals and had outstanding results from the credit card campaign. “We were very excited hear that we had won another prestigious CAMEO award. I am proud of the hard work and dedication of the staff; they were critical in making this promotion successful.” said John Faries, president and CEO of Columbine Federal Credit Union.
