Community Financial Credit Union’s new branch, located at 13625 Huron St. in Broomfield, is now open for business. Business hours for the Huron branch lobby will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled at the branch for April 16th at 4:00 pm to celebrate the completion of Community Financial Credit Union’s new location.
The Huron branch has a unique design that differs from the traditional financial institution branch. The branch was designed to go hand-‐in-‐hand with Community Financial Credit Union’s vision of being a true cooperative and taking a consultative approach to banking.
The new branch will feature teller pods instead of a traditional teller line, allowing the transactions that take place between financial specialists and members to be more beneficial. The pods will allow financial specialists to assist with setting up appointments for member reviews, complete basic financial transactions, and strengthen relationships with our members. In addition to the distinctive design of the interior, the branch will also feature two drive-‐up lanes, a drive up ATM, and two self-‐serve ATMs located in the lobby.
Community Financial Credit Union purchased the land at 136th Ave and Huron Street in 2007, although building was delayed due to the declining economy at the time. Construction of the new branch began eight months ago.
