BROOMFIELD, CO – While International Credit Union Day is officially celebrated on October 15, Community Financial Credit Union plans to honor the holiday throughout the whole month of October by supporting local non-profit groups in the community.
To go together with the World Credit Union Council’s theme of People Helping People for International Credit Union Day, Community Financial Credit Union is partnering with some local non-profit groups in the area to help give back.
The non-profit groups were picked by the public through votes from a website poll on Community Financial Credit Union’s website. Each week in October, a local non-profit group will be featured by Community Financial Credit Union. Starting October 5, Community Financial Credit Union will be accepting donations for each non-profit group, and the Credit Union will be matching donations made up to $500 for each group.
The most voted groups from the poll that will be featured by the Credit Union are the Emergency Family Assistance Association, Boulder County 4-H, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley, and Broomfield FISH.
To make a donation to one of these local non-profit groups, please visit a Community Financial branch location or call 303-469-5366 during the month of October.
