Arvada, CO. (August 12, 2015): Sooper Credit Union announced today that they have named James Arrieta as their new Branch Manager for the Western Slope branch in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Born and raised in Grand Junction, Arrieta graduated from Grand Junction High School.  He earned an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University in 2008.  Arrieta has 14 years of experience in the credit union community. “I’m excited to begin working with the team at Sooper,” said Mr. Arrieta. “…and I have some big shoes to fill,” he added. Arrieta references the “shoes” belonging to Judy Moeller, the previous Branch Manager, who retired after 35 years with Sooper. “Judy built a great team and loyalty with the members at Sooper,” Arrieta added.
Mr. Arrieta is an active in the community and is the Volunteer Development Chair for the Western Slope Division Board of the March of Dimes. He enjoys sporting events, concerts, and spending time with his family.
