Cheyenne, WY (April 30, 2015) — Meridian Trust CEO Kim Withers was recently appointed to the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. The Council provides input to the Federal Reserve Bank and its senior management on the economy, lending conditions and other issues from around the region
The 12 members of the CDIAC represent banks, thrift institutions and credit unions and provide diverse views from community institutions across the Tenth Federal Reserve District. These individual connections provide the Federal Reserve with a degree of insight on current and emerging issues that cannot be found in the data and comes only from direct involvement.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has branches in Denver, Oklahoma City and Omaha which serve the seven states of the Tenth Federal Reserve District, including Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, northern New Mexico and western Missouri.
