MWCUA Hikes the Hill and makes Regulatory Visits

The week of Sept. 14, the Mountain West Credit Union Association took a group of credit union leaders from Arizona and Colorado to Washington, D.C. for Congressional visits and meetings with leaders from NCUA and CFPB.

Key NCUA staff participated in the discussion of several issues including member business lending, examinations and future rule making. The group also met with multiple congressional offices and the CFPB.

While in D.C., the group attended the NCUA board meeting. Susan Frank and Jeff Meshey from Desert Schools FCU (Phoenix, AZ), Sundie Seefried from Partner Colorado CU (Arvada, CO), Randy Bernstein and Chad Graves from Ent Federal CU (Colorado Springs, CO), Todd Marksberry from Public Services CU (Denver, CO), and Gerry Agnes and Jay Champion from Elevations CU (Boulder, CO) made the trip with MWCUA staff.
