TUCSON, AZ (September 26, 2017) — Dani Durnal, Business Development Representative at Hughes Federal Credit Union, was named one of the Mountain West Credit Union Association’s (MWCUA) Top 20 Young Professionals Under 40. Ms. Durnal is one of only three winners in Arizona to be recognized for the award, and she is the only one representing Tucson. This first annual award was presented at the MWCUA’s Foundation Star Awards Gala on September 22, 2017 in Denver, Colorado.
“Hughes Federal Credit Union congratulates Ms. Durnal on this achievement that recognizes exceptional credit union employees, age 40 and under, who consistently demonstrate leadership and passion in furthering the ‘people helping people’ philosophy in the credit union movement,” said her manager Kellie Terhune Neely, VP Marketing. “Dani is an excellent choice for this recognition. She also has a passion for furthering the financial education of both youth and adults and makes a positive impact through our Hughes Helps community program.” Ms. Durnal was also selected as one of the 40 Under 40 in Tucson in 2017.
MWCUA is the regional trade association representing 125 member credit unions — 3.1 million credit union members and $34 billion in assets throughout Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming. Member credit unions work together on community service, education and training, regulatory compliance and more.
