The Mountain West education team is continually monitoring the reporting from recognized and authoritative sources listed below for the most accurate information on this situation.
World Health Organization
US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

At this time, most people in the United States will have little immediate risk of exposure to this virus. This virus is NOT currently spreading widely in the United States. This is a rapidly evolving situation and the risk assessment will be updated as needed. We will make decisions regarding our events on a case-by-case basis, making the safety and needs of all stakeholders our top priority.

We also know that federal, state and local leaders and public health providers are working together and sharing guidance to safeguard everyone from exposure to the virus. Mountain West encourages all of its attendees, exhibitors, presenters and guests to continue to follow the prescribed guidance of these authorities, as well as the CDC’s healthy habits to prevent cold/flu.
