Meridian Trust Opens New Mobile Branch

October 22, 2014

Cheyenne, WY-Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union has opened the first mobile banking branch in the state of Wyoming.

The brand new mobile branch– built by MBSystems out of Reno, Nevada — blends the functionality of a traditional branch lobby environment, with the convenience and mobility of a recreational vehicle.  This allows the new branch to go where financial services are needed.  This includes special events, underserved communities, and as a way to provide financial services during natural disasters.

The mobile branch allows members to conduct a variety of transactions, ranging from opening accounts to getting an auto loan to using the built-in ATM. The new mobile branch is designed to serve current Meridian Trust members, as well as anyone who is interested in opening their first account with the credit union.

“This isn’t a society where we want a nameless, touchless, financial relationship.  With the mobile branch, members of our organization have another access point at community events, dealership promotions, or local activities.  We are there where the action is,” said Kim Withers, CEO.

The new branch has been fully equipped with overlapping levels of security to ensure that safety and security.

Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union provides financial services to more than 20,000 members, with Wyoming branches in Cheyenne, Lander, Rawlins, Jackson, along with a branch in Scottsbluff, NE; and PowerTrust offices located in Casper and Rock Springs, WY.  For more information, visit .
