Colorado’s Premier Scholarship increased from $4,500 to $10,000
Boulder, Colo. (March 3, 2015) – Premier Members Federal Credit Union will be helping even more students pay for their education this year. Open to both undergraduate and graduate students, the Colorado’s Premier Scholarship program has been expanded from $4,500 to $10,000. Limited to two students annually in years past, the Premier Scholarship will now serve five students per year.
“We are proud to do our part and help support students and the educational community,” said Carlos Pacheco, Premier Members Chief Executive Officer. “By increasing our scholarship program, we will be able to help more students with their tuition.”
The Premier Scholarship was founded in 2011, when The Helen Lake Scholarship and John Flynn Scholarship previously offered by the credit union were combined. Applicants for the Premier Scholarship must be a member of the credit union in good standing, and demonstrate financial need. Premier Members will be accepting applications for the scholarship from March 1 through April 30, 2015.
More information about the Premier Scholarship and the application can be obtained at Premier Members’ website, pmfcu.org.
