Tucson Federal Credit Union Gives Back to the Community
Devereux Arizona Chosen as Charity of Choice at El Rio Branch

Tucson, Arizona —(Nov. 13, 2014) Tucson Federal Credit Union (TFCU) announced today that Devereux Arizona will be the charity of choice for their El Rio Branch located at 1740 W. Speedway.  Starting November 1, TFCU will add Devereux Arizona to the roster of selected charities, which includes three core charities and one unique to each branch. Cash donations made directly to the charities are also accepted.

As a proud supporter of the Tucson community, TFCU helps organizations that support the credit union’s philosophy of “People Helping People.” Devereux Arizona was selected because of their work with children and families. Programs at Devereux Arizona include foster care for children and adults, parent aide, respite, a short-term therapeutic group home and a residential treatment center for youth. With each new account opened at a TFCU branch, members may choose Devereux or one of three other charitable options to support with a $3 donation paid for by TFCU.

TFCU President and CEO, Susan Stansberry said, “By standing behind distinguished organizations like Devereux Arizona, we can broaden our impact in the community. We are proud to support their inspiring mission. Their reach in both health and education for children and adults makes Devereux Arizona an ideal nonprofit organization to align with. TFCU is excited to add them to our list of New Account Donation recipients.” For more information about TFCU’s services or their community outreach and giving programs, visit their website:  https://www.tucsonfcu.com.

Today, TFCU has grown to more than 49,000 members and seven locations in Tucson, Marana, and Sahuarita. Their growth and success comes from those members who use their services, a dedicated group of volunteers who are elected by their members to represent them, and a great staff who are committed to creating an exceptional experience.
